Ride Leader Information

Thank you so much for your dedication to making The Herriman Cycling club so great!

We need as many ride leaders as we can so we know how many kids we can have on the team. The ratios are 1:6 or 2:8 riders.

The League has asked to keep our numbers for level 3 ride leaders/coaches to those in leadership positions. If you have not been asked by a head coach to fill in one of those positions, please focus on level 2. If you wish to take a wilderness first aid course for level 3, you are welcome to at your own cost.

Here is the link for Level 2 if you need to renew basic first aid this year Utah High School Cycling League Events | Eventbrite

We will be sending dates for OTB 101 outside portion in the coming weeks and will be set by kickoff.

Also, if you are going to remain level 1, Click for Level 1. If you are shooting for Level 2, click the Level 2 link. If you start one level, they do not transfer over to another level. You’ll need to repeat the courses. If you are a returning ride leader, I encourage you to become Level 2.

The team kick off meeting is April 4. Please try to have your certification completed by then so we can focus on new riders & ride leaders.

Your coach profile should have check marks showing completed for the License level you took the course for. If something does not show completed, go back through the courses and make sure they are completed.

If you have any questions on becoming a ride leader or leveling up your ride leader certification please reach out!
